DakDak ("DakDak", "we", "us") provides a shared team inbox that lets businesses manage conversations with their customers across WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, and Instagram. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website at dakdak.in and the DakDak application.
When a business uses DakDak to talk to its customers, that business is the controller of its customers' data. DakDak acts as a processor on the business's behalf and only handles that data to provide the service.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use the content of your customer conversations for advertising.
We share data only with providers that help us run DakDak, under agreements that require them to protect it: Meta Platforms (to deliver WhatsApp, Facebook, and Instagram messaging), our hosting provider, and Razorpay (for payments). We may disclose information if required by law.
Each business's workspace is logically separated so one customer cannot see another's data. We use encryption in transit, encrypt sensitive credentials at rest, hash passwords, restrict staff access, and keep audit logs of sensitive actions.
We keep workspace data for as long as the account is active. When an account is closed, we delete or anonymise its data within a reasonable period, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
You can access, correct, export, or delete your account data by contacting us. If you are an end customer of a business using DakDak, please contact that business, as they control your data.
DakDak's use of information received from Meta APIs follows Meta's Platform Terms and Developer Policies, including limits on how message content and profile information may be used. We only use this data to operate the inbox for the business that connected the account.
